What it's for
It is the sealant for tubulars, sold on velox.fr under the name “Tufo Puncture Sealant — Standard”. It is injected through the valve before the first ride, on a new tubular, and it stays there: it is insurance, not an emergency fix.
What it changes
A punctured tubular, in principle, can't be repaired at the roadside: it is sewn. With sealant inside, a puncture up to about 5 mm closes instantly — the tubular doesn't deflate all at once, you barely notice the incident, and you ride home. It's the only thing that makes a tubular reasonable for solo training.
How to use it
Unscrew the valve core with the supplied tool, inject the 50 ml, refit the core, inflate and spin the wheel to spread the liquid. Suitable for all Tufo tubulars, including tubular-clinchers.
