What it does

The Swampero is the gravel tyre for greasy ground and rainy days. Waterlogged soil, ruts, damp woodland, wet grass: it's the only one of the three that keeps traction when the ground gives way.

The directional tread

Knobs shaped like arrows, pointing in the direction of travel, with overlapping centre knobs. This overlap is what lets the tyre roll fast on hard ground despite tall knobs: contact is never completely broken. And because the arrows are open to the outside, mud clears itself instead of building up between the blocks.

The casing and protection

Casing 210/375 TPI that smooths the terrain and prevents bouncing, nylon layer on the sidewalls against stones, thick puncture-protection layer under the tread — on this kind of terrain, protection matters as much as grip. Tubeless ready, aramid beads, compatible with hookless rims. In 36, 40, 44 and 48 mm.

Standard puncture protection An extra layer of rubberised casing under the tread: a sufficient barrier against most punctures, without hurting efficiency.	Grip Silica compound Nanostructured silica tread compound, tailored to each discipline. Its strong point is grip, especially in the rain.
Airtight TR rubber Nano-block inner rubber, built into the casing, which holds the air without an inner tube. It is what makes a tyre “tubeless ready”.	Nylon-reinforced sidewalls A nylon layer on the sidewalls of gravel and XC tyres: cut protection and stability at low pressure.
