This build uses a Shimano TC500hub, designed to better withstand the torque of electric-assist bikes. It stands out for its optimal weight-to-stiffness ratio and robust industrial cartridge bearings. A double seal system helps extend its service life. The hub body is aluminium, while the pawl freewheel is steel. It is also certified for use on e-bikes.
