The emergency fluid: after a puncture, through the valve, it seals up to 6 mm.
What it's for
Be careful not to confuse it with the previous one: the “Tufo Puncture Sealant — Carbon” is a repairer, not a preventive. It is used after a puncture, on a tubular or tubeless ready tyre that is already punctured — there is no point injecting it in advance.
What it does
Its thick viscosity lets it plug small and medium-sized holes, up to about 6 mm : more than a classic preventive can handle. In return, this thickness makes it unsuitable for permanent use in the tyre.
How to use it
Through the valve, core unscrewed with the supplied tool, then re-inflate and spin the wheel to bring the liquid to the puncture. One bottle of 50 ml covers one to two repairs.
