The site is served through Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States), which caches its files, provides HTTPS encryption and protects it from attacks. Your IP address and the technical data of your connection pass through its servers, in Europe and the United States, where they are kept for a limited time in technical logs. Cloudflare acts on our behalf as a processor within the meaning of the GDPR, on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and its certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. It also hides the site's e-mail addresses from harvesting bots, using a small script served from this same domain, with no cookie or tracker.
Intellectual property
The site, its structure and all its elements — texts, photographs, drawings, downloadable documents, logos — are the property of Velox or used with the permission of their owners. Any reproduction, in whole or in part, without written permission is prohibited. Guidoline® is a registered trademark of Velox; other brands mentioned belong to their respective owners.
Cookies and trackers
The site uses no audience measurement, no advertising network and no social media button that would follow you from one site to another. It sets or reads:
- the shop's session cookies (PrestaShop): they remember your cart, your account login and your preferences. Essential to the operation of the site, they do not require consent;
- PayPal scripts, on product pages and at checkout: they enable payment and fraud prevention, and may set their own trackers.
The security code on forms (contact, account creation) is generated by the shop itself, with no external service.
Personal data
Data collected when you place an order, create an account, send a contact request or subscribe to the newsletter is processed by Établissements Velox solely for those purposes. The details — purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention periods — are set out in article 11 of the terms and conditions of sale. No data is sold or passed on.
