Going tubeless starts with a clean rim.

Preparing the rim

Before fitting tubeless rim tape, old glue, sealant and tape residue must be removed. Velox remover, in a 400 ml aerosol, cleans the edges and inside of the rim without damaging it, and dries quickly. Complete conversion kits are found with the rim tapes.
