High-pressure rim tape is made for double-wall rims, aluminium or carbon: it shields the inner tube from the spoke heads and from any irregularities in the rim bed.
Finding the right width
In nylon-PVC, from 26 inches to 700C / 29 inches, 14 to 40 mm wide: choose it by the inner width of the rim, singly or by the pair. For cargo bike and longtail rims, a 30 mm version in 26 inches.
