For workshops, Velox sells its cables in boxes of 10 or 25: brake and gear cables for bicycles, and also for mopeds, Vespas and garden machinery.
Choosing a cable
Type first: gear or brake, road or MTB, single or double head, cantilever. Then material: galvanised steel or stainless. Cables also differ in their number of strands, from 12 to 19, and some are pre-stretched so they do not slacken after fitting. For engines: MBK, Peugeot 103, Vespa, Dell'Orto and Gurtner carburettors. And single-strand cable on a 25 m reel.
