In detail
The dielectric cleaner Velox is a fast-dryingcleaning and degreasing solvent, designed for maintaining electric-assist bikes : it cleans electrical and electronic components while preserving their integrity.
Its dielectric strength of 30 000 volts and its chlorinated-solvent-free formula — non-oxidising, non-corrosive — make it a cleaner suited to circuits. It has no effect on thermosetting resins or on most plastics: PVC, PET, PP, nylons.
Once the contacts are clean and dry, protect them with the silicone dielectric contact lubricant or the dielectric silicone grease.

Instructions for use

Switch off the bike and remove the battery. | |

Spray onto contacts and connectors, from a distance, in a well-ventilated place. | |

Let the product evaporate completely before refitting the battery. | |

Then protect the contacts with a dielectric silicone lubricant or grease. |
