Double-Face Tufo for tubular Road - 19mm

What it replaces

Tufo double-sided tape replaces tubular cement. Sold on velox.fr under the name “Tufo Double-Sided Tape”, it fits on carbon and aluminium rims alike, and removes in one go everything that made tubulars a chore: preparation time, the twenty-four hours of drying, glue on your fingers and solvent fumes in the workshop.

How to use it

Unroll the tape on the rim bed, press it down, then remove the red protective strip while positioning the tubular — this plastic liner is what lets you centre calmly before the bond takes. Inflate, ride: the adhesion becomes permanent over the first kilometres, under pressure and heat.

Which width

19 mm for narrow tubulars, 22 mm for sections from 22 to 28 mm. One roll per wheel. The full step-by-step, photos included, is in our fitting advice.
