What it does
The S33 Pro is Tufo's training tubular, and the best seller in the whole range. No exotic fibre, no 400 TPI casing: a solid construction, a rubber that lasts, and a price that lets you wear out a tubular without a second thought. It is the tubular you fit in November and find again in spring.
The construction
Casing 60/90 TPI — robust rather than supple —, tread compound with carbon black for mileage, and a permissible pressure of up to 12 bar in 21 mm. The fine tread limits rolling resistance without compromising grip on dry or wet roads.
Tubular or tubular-clincher
The S33 Pro comes in two versions. The classic tubular is glued or fixed with double-sided tape on a tubular rim. The tubular-clincher (reference C S33 Pro) is a sewn tubular whose base tape is profiled to fit on an ordinary hooked rim, without glue: the construction and comfort of a tubular, on the wheels you already have. In 21 and 24 mm, black or beige sidewalls.

Inside, the Tufo Anti-Puncture Sealant — Standard injected through the valve before the first ride seals punctures up to 5 mm. This model also exists as a tubular-clincher, which fits without glue on an ordinary hooked rim.
